Fun Inbetweens

Here is the first clip of the rough key poses for the short film I'm working on. From here I have to start charting the timing for the inbetweens, but some parts of the clip were already very clear to me how I should proceed. I knew that certain poses were going to have to "snap" with only a single inbetween, because I wanted to keep the zippy quality. When the husband jumps up to keep the menu out of view of the wife, there are two key poses:

To do a straight inbetween, which is equidistant between the two keys, is stupid. The point of zipping to the next key with only one frame is to accentuate the speed of the movement. So the obvious choice to me is this:

A smear on the top, and a doubling of the other elements on the bottom. It's almost invisible in the clip unless you stop and go frame-by-frame, but I think it works much better than a straight inbetween to accomplish the effect.
